Web Design Devon (“we”, “us”, “our”) of 89–91 King Street, Brixham, Devon, TQ5 9TH is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and in the course of providing our services, how we use it, and the rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
For the purposes of data protection law, we are the data controller. You can contact us about anything in this policy at info@webdesigndevon.com or on 07436 389 099.

We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not collect special category data unless you volunteer it and it is necessary for the services.
3. How and why we use your data
- To respond to enquiries and provide our services: necessary for the performance of a contract, or to take steps at your request before entering one.
- To administer and secure our website: our legitimate interest in running our business safely and effectively.
- To improve our website and services: our legitimate interest, using aggregated analytics wherever possible.
- To send relevant updates or marketing: only with your consent or as otherwise permitted by law; you can opt out at any time.
- To comply with legal obligations: such as accounting and tax record-keeping.
4. Who we share data with
We never sell your personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate, such as hosting providers, email services and analytics providers, under contracts that require them to protect it. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Where a service provider processes data outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes it was collected: enquiry data for up to two years after our last contact; client and contractual records for six years after the end of the engagement (to meet legal and accounting obligations); and analytics data for the retention period configured in the relevant tool.
6. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable, secured infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data in line with good industry practice.
